“The Golden Mule” - My First Musical

I am currently working on an ambitious musical composition for my senior vocal recital. The story follows a wishful man named Cowboy Boy who goes on a search for a golden mule to embrace a cowboy persona. Despite his attempt to be more masculine and cool, his chaotic and flawed personality shows without remorse. It will feature 12 songs with piano, electric/acoustic guitar, trumpet, electric bass, aux percussion, and vocals. I will be performing as “Cowboy Boy,” who will almost exclusively appear throughout the musical.

I am learning a lot of lessons through taking on this project and hope to learn even more as it comes to fruition.
